About Me

Hello! 

My name is Hillary Tschappat-Larson, and I am the owner and creator of Oliver Bean Designs.

In December of my senior year of high school, I started Oliver Bean Designs to sell my sticker designs. Stickers have become one of the easiest and most affordable ways for artists like me to share art with people like you. 

In 2019, I began exploring with polymer clay and I fell in love with using it to produce unique, vibrant, and lightweight jewelry. I love the vast amount of possibilities that polymer clay brings to the table. I graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in May 2021 with a BA in psychology and shortly after moved to Vermont.

As a perfectionist, polymer clay has challenged me to accept the fact that small imperfections are unavoidable. It has also allowed me to change my viewpoint on these imperfections in my pieces. Rather than mistakes, I see them as telling the story of the hard work I put into each piece I make.

I love creating, and it would not be possible without the support from you and all my other customers, so thank you for supporting me and my dreams.
